Not A Conversation but About Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton died earlier this week. I always knew she was amazing. However, until her death and all the media I’ve seen about her, I never knew how extraordinary she really was. I haven’t read a single thing about her that wasn’t positive. A reason I wanted to write this blog is because I believe everyone in their own way is amazing. They may never make headline news or write and sing a song heard by nearly everyone in the world but… still amazing. I hope to explore and write about the amazing people in my community (and maybe beyond) and I hope I’m able, as a writer and an interviewer, to draw out the amazing in each person I encounter. May Ms. Parton rest in peace and may her extraordinary legacy live on in each of us by offering kindness and being generous. Godspeed, Dolly.
